Larry Goodman, Case Manager
Larry Goodman is a Licensed Professional Counselor who has been providing services to adults with psychiatric and developmental disabilities in the Atlanta area for 35 years. He was PLAN of Georgia’s Executive Director from 2011 until 2016. He has moved into his current role as Clinical Director in order to focus on the delivery and supervision of direct services to PLAN’s clients. Prior to coming to PLAN, Larry served for over 25 years as the director of Northside Hospital’s program for adults with severe and persistent mental illnesses. His favorite hobby is anything and everything related to Chicago pro sports.
Tara Wojtkunski, Clinical Director
Tara Wojtkunski, MS, LPC, CRC, NCC has worked for over fifteen years in diverse behavioral health and rehabilitation settings, the lion’s share and most rewarding of which was at Northside Hospital’s day program, Vistas. She has occupied roles, including work unit supervisor in a day program, dual diagnosis counselor, dialectical behavioral therapy facilitator as well as providing supportive counseling and vocational rehabilitation counseling. Most recently she has worked at Georgia Vocational Rehabilitation Agency supporting individuals with blindness and low vision striving to become independent and return to employment. Returning to working with individuals with severe persistent mental illness is a fulfilling step in her journey. Tara is excited to be working with her favorite population again, assisting individuals to achieve their highest level of independence and quality of life. In her free time, Tara enjoys travel, baking, gardening and spending time with her husband and rescue dogs.
BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Susie Kyle, President
Susie has served as president of the board of NAMI Northside Atlanta, where she teaches the Family-to-Family workshop. She is also on the board of NAMI Georgia. Because PLAN of Georgia has been an indispensable component to her son’s path to recovery, Susie is committed to securing its future and expanding its reach, so that more families can get the help they need.
Bill McClung, Vice-President
After a thirty-year career at IBM, Bill is currently an independent consultant in project and marketing management. He is a graduate of Dartmouth College and served as a naval officer. A tireless advocate for mental health initiatives, he has served for six years on the board of NAMI Northside, as well as on the board of NAMI Georgia. He has also served as National Committee Chair of the U.S.Tennis Association.
Gene Sanders, Treasurer
After graduating from Northern Arizona University, Gene started his career at GE Energy. In 1996 he transitioned to small business culminating in his current role as Vice President at Solutions In Action – a conveyor systems integration company. He and his wife Beth lead NAMI Family Support Groups in Buckhead and Johns Creek. He is a member of NAMI Northside and a committed advocate for individuals and families impacted by mental health concerns.
Jane Gay, Secretary
Jane had two careers in forty years, working in both the broadcasting and the non-profit world. She is a member of NAMI Northside and is an advocate and active volunteer for mental health causes.
Neitcha is passionate about empowering and supporting families and individuals impacted by mental illness through their journey of recovery, ending stigma and identifying community mental health resources. She is currently a case manager in the Young Adult Psych Program at Ridgeview Institute. Neitcha received her Bachelors in Social Work from the University of Texas and her Masters in Clinical Social Work from the University of Georgia.
